Premium Chinese white tea leaves. Dehydrated roses. Dehydrated Lavender. Dehydrated Hibiscus.
How to prepare Simply Gorgeous Tea
- 4 grams of tea for 8oz (240 ml) of fresh water
- Bring fresh water to 185 degrees F
- Steep for 4 minutes
- Good for 2 – 3 infusions. With each infusion, the flavor profile changes, and you are likely to experience secondary and tertiary notes
- Salmon
- Salads
- Pasta in light sauce
- Sorbet
- Low – An 8-ounce (230-ml) cup of white tea generally contains between 5 and 40 mg of caffeine

Simply Gorgeous Tea
I wish I had the green thumb that my friends Andrea or Marjorie have. The exteriors of their respective homes have stunningly vibrant blooms, that seem to grow effortlessly. Their gardens could appear in magazines or on HGTV. By comparison, my garden looks like I need to continue to focus on tea blending. I am aware of my lane. None the less I am inspired by what they have achieved, and Simply Gorgeous Tea is my rendition of a beautiful tea garden.
The base tea, Bai Long Xu, is procured from the Yunnan Province. It’s a delicate, high quality white tea made with hand-picked tea buds. Bai Long Xu is blended with beautiful botanicals to produce a fragrant and elegant elixir, that is light and easy to drink tea.

I tried their lapsang souchong and loved it! It was smooth and absolutely not bitter. They give you refrigerator magnet with instructions on the water temperature ideal for each type of tea so you never over heat your water. I also love their practice of sustainable sourcing and packaging.

I happened to be passing by the Symphony of Leaves pop-up shop in downtown Atlanta today on my birthday, when Renee invited me in for a cup of tea. I’m not a big tea drinker, but as today is my birthday, I decided to go in to the kind request. I had maybe the most delicious cup of tea I’ve ever had. It was naturally sweet and not bitter. Reneé, explained to me how ethically and wonderfully sourced and paid out from the bottom to the top the production process was for Symphony of leaves. I highly recommend this tea. Reneé was as genuine and nice as any business owner could be. I hope to see this brand of tea succeed!
