If you are looking for a special tea that hits all the notes - luxury, single origin, and loose leaf, Seojae Hwang Cha is the perfect tea. It's hand-picked from a small cultivar in Hadong, during the first flush. Once its plucked, it's lightly pan fried. The gentle pan frying captures the floral and roasted aspects. Since it is only partially oxidized tea it's characterized as a "yellow tea”. It sits between green tea (no oxidation) and black tea (full oxidation). It’s characterized by: gentle amber or golden liquor with a floral and nutty aroma. Since it is only partially oxidized, it is less astringent than green tea and makes it easier to digest.
At Symphony of Leaves Tea Co., we are dedicated to partnering with women-led businesses that uphold tradition and excellence.
